iCapital Co., Ltd. was established by a group of seasoned investors with extensive experience and a broad network of relationships accumulated over many years. They are also actively involved in key roles at financial institutions and large-cap publicly traded companies in Vietnam.
iCapital’s operations encompass investments in both listed equity markets and unlisted equity capital markets. Additionally, the company provides financial advisory and asset management services to both individual and institutional clients. As part of our investment expansion, we are launching this trainee program to recruit high-potential interns with the capability to become full-time members of the iCapital Investment Team.
What you’ll do
- Assist the Investment Team in collecting data and information for industry analysis, company analysis and deal valuation.
- Support the gathering of macroeconomic data and information for investment activities.
- Support the Investment Team in preparing investment reports, pitch materials and presentations for clients, shareholders and board members.
- Independently identify and propose investment opportunities, conduct analysis, and present investment deals to clients, shareholders and board members when assigned by the Investment Team.
- Perform research and fieldwork, and connect with companies and industries as assigned.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners, industry experts and other stakeholders related to investment activities.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Investment Team.
Who we’re looking for
Preference is given to third- or fourth-year students, or candidates with less than one year of experience, particularly those majoring in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
Valued qualities
- Passionate about learning new knowledge; diligent and hardworking.
- Logical and critical thinking skills.
- Responsible and able to work under high pressure.
- Strong passion for investment work, with practical experience in stock investment.
- Career-oriented in the investment industry.
Knowledge and skills
- Experience in investment analysis, including industry and company analysis.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, financial analysis and valuation models. Capable of delivering a comprehensive investment deal evaluation.
- Preference for candidates with experience at securities firms, investment companies or funds, or who have participated in finance or investment competitions.
